Grand River Dental

Dr. Rachel achieved early admission into dental school at the Western University of Health Sciences in California. She sought out that particular program due to the focus on community clinics, which aligned with her personal goals in healthcare.

Advanced education and training

She has been highly active in continuing education since her graduation. The state of Wisconsin requires dental practitioners to achieve thirty continuing education credits every two years. Dr. Rachel has already completed 300 – more than ten times required by the state. She has taken many of her continuing education credits at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute and is currently working towards a Fellowship at this elite dental education center. She has focused her advanced training in the dental arts in several areas:

  • Implants and surgery
  • Laser therapy
  • Cosmetic dentistry and custom Smile Design
  • Full-mouth rehabilitation
  • Occlusion and T.M.J.
  • Cone beam use and interpretation

Dedicated to service and the community

Dr. Rachel is very involved with non-profit activities and volunteers her personal time to various events. Her passion is drug education and human rights, and she has dedicated her time and energy to Drug-Free World and Youth for Human Rights. She has also volunteered with her father to provide dentistry in the Dominican Republic.

On a personal note…

When Dr. Rachel is not working or studying, she enjoys reading, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with her fiancée, cat, and two dogs.
