In a relatively simple procedure, a composite resin or porcelain material is added directly to the roughened enamel surface of your tooth. Often no anesthetic is required. Bonding can be used to close gaps or spaces between teeth or to make crowded teeth appear straight. It’s a dramatic improvement in your smile, and a service we enjoy providing!

Replace Unsightly Fillings

Tooth-colored fillings, or posterior composite resins, can be used to replace unsightly silver or dark fillings. This gives the teeth a more natural appearance. This bonding procedure for the back teeth takes a bit more time and costs slightly more than traditional methods, but the aesthetic results are stunning. Bonded fillings can restore a tooth up to 80 percent of its original integrity, because the walls of the tooth are virtually bonded together. The life expectancy of the posterior bonded resins is three to six years.

Porcelain Crown and Bridge Reconstruction

The all-porcelain crown is considered by many to be the ultimate in protection and beauty. Indicated to correct major defects in the front as well as the rear of the mouth, porcelain crowns have been successfully used for over 75 years and provide the most support and protection for the important tooth structure it covers. It is the strongest of all the aesthetic metal-free restorations.

Today’s modern porcelain and ceramic technology is made to replace missing or broken teeth seamlessly and beautifully. A porcelain crown can be repositioned and shaped to match other teeth in color and alignment, or completely change the appearance. Porcelain bridge work is the best treatment for correcting major anterior functional or structural problems with individual teeth, missing teeth, or general bite dysfunction.
